Our Commitment

We believe every single parent deserves to connect, find support, and join in — without barriers. We are continually working to improve the usability and accessibility of our website so that people of all abilities can navigate, understand, and enjoy everything Single Parents Collective has to offer.

Standards We Follow

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the widely adopted standard for making web content accessible. These guidelines explain how to make web content more usable for people with disabilities, including visual, auditory, cognitive, and motor impairments.

While we strive for full conformance, we recognize that accessibility is an ongoing process and that some areas of our site may not yet meet every standard. We treat this as a priority, not a checkbox.

What We've Done

• Structured our pages with clear headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate them
• Added descriptive alternative text to all meaningful images
• Ensured forms have properly associated labels and can be filled out using only a keyboard
• Chosen color combinations that meet recommended contrast ratios for readability
• Made interactive elements like buttons and links reachable and operable with a keyboard alone
• Designed layouts that adapt to mobile devices and smaller screens
• Used a cookie consent banner that is keyboard-accessible and does not trap focus

Third-Party Content

Some of our pages link to or embed content from third parties — such as event maps, registration platforms, and vendor partners. While we cannot control the accessibility of their sites, we do our best to link to accessible resources and encourage our partners to do the same.

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, you may encounter some limitations:
